Everything Starts with Trust
#thought provoking
Today, I suddenly had this thought:
Everything begins and progresses from trust.
Whether in work or personal relationships, there are many cases where progress stops when trust is broken in the middle. Therefore, trust in relationships seems to be the foundation, from beginning to end.
For example, if someone successfully completed a task, this doesn’t necessarily indicate trust in their relationship with others. Completing a task well simply means that task itself was finished effectively. So, trust in a relationship between people is not derived from public matters or one-dimensional work-related aspects. Rather, it's more about the person’s actions, tone, body language, and the way they treat others, including children. These unconscious behaviors often have a much greater impact on assessing trust in personal relationships.
The same seems to apply in private relationships. In fact, even the most private relationships—such as those within a family—might be built on trust. The trust between siblings, between parents and children, creates harmony in the family and contributes to the sense of happiness when one feels supported within that family structure.
Conscious, intentional acts of kindness might improve a person’s reputation. However, the excellent behaviors that flow naturally from a person, ingrained in them, are what truly make others trust them.
I believe relationships based on reputation are fragile, while relationships built on trust are much harder to break, even if someone tries.
This is just a simple thought I had today.
